The sacred or miraculous springs are places to which processions are made and to which all kinds of curative properties are attributed.

In order to intercede with the saint to whom the spring is dedicated, believers leave things belonging to the sick person (clothes and animal collars etc.). For example, a sacred spring - the Font de Rieu Tari or Font de Saint-Fiacre - can be found in the middle of the Forest of Les Cars and has the quality of being able to cure horned animals. The three sacred springs of Saint Eutrope in Courbefy cure different illnesses : rheumatism and toothache, etc.
